E-2 PV2 Previous.I am in the Army, enlisted as an E I am leaving on August 10th of to Fort Knox, Kentucky. First Question: I understand we get paid on the first and 15th of each month.
Will I be paid on the 15th? Or do I have to just wait it out until the 1st of September.

Second Question: I am planning on coming home from Christmas Exodus which will possibly be on the 18th of December. Will they give me my check for the last half of the month on the 15th? Long or short answers, it does not matter. All questions don't have to be answered, just most. Remember to consider taxes and other possible bills if any please make me aware of them. It is actually released to the banks several days in advance, so the earliest you will see that pay is the 1st of September. You will not have actual access to that pay at all until you have completed Basic.
There is no internet use to check on the balances. So yes you will still get paid in December while on Exodus on the 15th and then the 31st of December.

If you do get your check on one of those "off days", you'll start the regular pay schedule on the follow regular payday. I got paid on the 7th and again on the 15th. The military provides you with everything, so you shouldn't have any bills as a young, single soldier living in the barracks. Be sure to check your Leave and Earnings Statement every month for accuracy. If you're overpaid, Uncle Sam will take it all back at once.They will need to gather their belongings from the barracks and check-out of their unit.
Once check-out is complete Soldiers are required to check-in to their next unit at their AIT school. Depending on where the AIT school is located Soldiers will either fly or drive to their new unit. All of this information is provided to Soldiers near the end of BCT, and by graduation, they will know exactly where they need to go next.
Soldiers are not often given time to go home after basic training. Check-in for AIT School is most often the day after graduation, if not the same day. During this phase, Soldiers will continue to receive more privileges such as phone time and weekend liberty.
Weekend passes throughout AIT will be determined by the unit. In some cases, Soldiers may receive an on-base liberty pass for the weekend during Phase IV. Off-base liberty passes are normally not granted until Phase V.
Weekend passes are approved by individual units. There is no guarantee for liberty and often times has to be earned during the week by the Soldiers.
As time progresses through AIT, Soldiers will be granted more privileges including an overnight pass for the weekend. But, Soldiers will be limited to the amount of distance they can travel from the base. Most bases will not allow travel over 50 miles from the base. Soldiers may also receive more time to use their personal cell phones, to make those FaceTime calls home.
Even then, your Soldier may not be aware of weekend liberty until the day before.
AIT graduations are more intimate than the graduation ceremony for basic training. The graduating class will be much smaller and the ceremony may only last thirty minutes. After the graduation ceremony is complete, Soldiers will complete the check-out process from AIT as they get ready to report to their next unit.
After Soldiers graduate from their AIT School they are normally granted some leave, often 10 days, before having to check-in to their next unit.Learn about the different Army AIT based on its location and length of time needed to complete the training. Your MOS is a specific job you will do every day in service to contribute to the military branch. Pay during Army BCT/AIT?

MOS 91M also learn how to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems. Field training provides hands-on experience.
Soldiers develop their skills through basic demolitions and explosive hazards. Army Combat Engineers also learn how to construct wire obstacles and fix bridges. Army AIT training includes bridge building, road maintenance, and rough carpentry and rigging.
Basic construction methods and engineering principles are taught in the classroom. Most bases I have been to offer some kind of tax information services. When you get out of boot camp I would suggest going to legal or somewhere and getting things squared away.
